Talking to the Council – We Want to Make It Better
We know that talking to the Council is not always easy.
People have told us, through complaints and feedback, that communication can be a problem.
We want to work with you to make things better.
What We Did
In February, we sent out a survey with help from our partner organisations.
We asked people to tell us about:
- Times when communication was bad
- Times when communication was good
- Ideas for how we can improve
Then, on 31st March, we held a workshop to look at what people said.
We grouped the comments into themes and started thinking about solutions.
But no one with lived experience came to the workshop and we want to hear from you.

We’re also planning an online session in September or October to agree on next steps.
